Gender Discrimination
__Women were not allowed to participate in the 1900 Paris Olympic Games and until 1992 only 35 countries still sent only men athletes. In 2010 only 3 countries had never sent women - Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Brunei. In the 2012 London Olympic Games for the first time in Olympic History every country that competed had sent over men and women athletes to compete. Saudi Arabia sent two women, Qatar sent four and Brunei sent one. One of Qatar's female athletes (Bahiya al - Hamad) became an Olympian for Shooting. She was named 2011-2012 best Athlete and became a flag-bearer for the Youth Olympic Games.
